Rooftop luggage containers or tow hooks can be connected to trailers or campers. Convenience vehicle accessories such as remote controls are also extremely useful for cars and garages.

Certain performance accessories such as tachometers are used in cars, along with fuel management supplies, air intakes, and other things which help in increasing efficiency or engine power.
